Franky and Deitrus were walking along the alley of Shepherds way looking through the trash bins for some fresh Donuts. Every evening around Four A.M. the Donut maker would throw out the donuts he felt were ‘stale,’ but to Franky and Deitrus those donuts were just fine. In-fact they were better then any ‘soup-hall’ in the multiverse.
Franky now was fully immersed in the trash-can, but he found some donuts. “My favorite man! I got Double Chocolate! Man, that is un-real.” Deitrus standing on the outside helped Tavarus back over the top savoring the smell. Franky tripped on the side of the Bin knocking the donuts into the air. For a mere second both the donuts and Franky were in mid-flight. Deitrus attempted to catch the donuts but was caught by a 180 pound man throwing him to the ground.
“Are you o.k?”
“Yeah, man, I… lost the donuts.” Franky said
“Don’t worry about it, we’ll just head down 43rd and Swag street to get an old bagel” Deitrus spoke trying to stand up straight, now noticing the donuts never landed.
“Umm, I really think we should re-consider drinking into the late hours…”
“What? … Why?”
Deitrus was now standing straight up and pointing at the donuts laying in what seemed to be mid-flight. Franky was fumbling himself up from the ground and looked into the empty alley way that Deitrus was pointing.
“Man! God loves us! They haven’t been smashed into bits by the ground yet. I’ll catch mine, you catch yours.” Franky said as he ran toward the donut only to smash himself in the jaw by an invisible vehicle.
“What The Crap was that!” Screaming now as if Deitrus was a mile away.
Just then, Deitrus walked up to his donut and attempted to pick it out of the air. His finger tips hit the machine the donut was sitting on, and things seemed to get more complex. ”Umm, … I er.. Think the donuts are sitting on something?” He said, now running his hands up and down the vehicle, ignoring the donut. ”I can’t figure out what this is, come feel it Franky.” The material the two shabby broken men felt was unlike the typical crappy plastic feeling car, This thing felt like a titanium alloy made of silk. Both Franky and Deitrus were now feeling the invisible mobile up and down, leaving the scum from their hands everywhere. It took some time, but Deitrus finally found something that stuck out.
“I think this is a handle.” He said to himself, as he began to pull the door open.
“Careful man! You don’t know what is inside this thing!” Franky said, backing away as if they just came across an alien spacecraft.
Inside the machine was beautiful, and obviously not invisible. Most pieces were made of the same material on the outside just covered with a fabric comftorbable enough to sleep on. The machine was tall enough to stand in, and was as long as a full sized van. Before long, Deitrus found himself entering the mobile looking around for something he could, he didn’t really know what he was looking for. Franky, the more ambitious one, went in right behind Deitrus.”I can’t let you just wander around in here by yourself! You could get lost, or Better yet become invisible!” He said as he was now sitting in the driver seat pretending to learn the controls. ”Man, I can’t find the wheel to this thing! That must be why it’s sitting here, the thing is broken.”
Not a moment later, the man in the black trench coat came roaring around the corner heading for his machine.
“Is … umm.. That the owner?” Franky said.
“Hide man! Hide! You don’t want him to see you!” Deitrus said in the back.
“ok, ok.” Franky said ducking behind the film that seemed to be the windshield. ”Where Though?” Both looked around, for a place to hide theirselves. Anything would have done: a blanket, a towel under a seat, or a trunk. In the back was a small lever underneath of one of the seats. Deitrus, being the smarter of the two quickly opened it up to see what was inside. The area was low to the ground, but big enough to fit two human bodies comfortably inside.
“Under the seats, they lift up!” Deitrus said to Franky.
Both men shuffled their bodies into the tight space, waiting and hoping that the man wasn’t actually the owner of this crazy contraption. It was at this moment that the man entered and sat down in his seat.
“Agh, and you my friend, will be buckled in, because you are more important then life itself.” he said, as he was putting it into the passenger seat beside him. “What is that smell? Did I step in dog crap? oh, My! This is horrible.” he checked his shoes noticed nothing was there, sprayed some febreeze like substance, took out his keys, and started the vehicle. What was heard next was a soft sound, that if described in color would be a pinkish tone. No one saw it, but the Clocks man did feel a soft vibration through the floor as the vehicle lifted off the ground.
Flashes of light filled Deitrus and Franky’s eyes even from under the seats, and they could feel the weight of their bodies pulling toward the place they would once call home and then they blacked out – FAINTED.
