Teddy Ruxbins
Kiddie pools
defunct department stores
long lines, incompetence
(“For God’s sake lady, it’s a folding chair!”)
Power Rangers on VHS
Sippin’ on RC Cola
with embarrassing haircuts
Mouthin’ like pirates
in frigid basements and a Super Nintendo
These wayward frivolities
living for the breeze
Swoopin’ in
like an idiot bird into a portrait window
Bowin’ and saggin’
‘long the sighs of the day.

This sounds like the growth of *My Life* Grew up wanting a Teddy Rux, Played Super NES for Mortal Kombat, Loved the power rangers for like a year or two..
I see this as someone looking into the past at a more simpler life an missing it.
