Aside from some grammatical errors, I found this story pleasing. It really made me think, especially since I am a mother. I worry about doing all the right things so that my kids turn out fine, and I can see the same sensibility with Howie and Sarah. This story is real to me, because as a decent parent, you hope for the best, but sometimes get the worst.
