We are having a Short Story & Poetry contest during the month of June! The due date is July 5th @ 12am – Pacific Standard time. This must be a July 4th based theme and the genre must be Humor or SyFy!
There will be 1 winner for the Poetry side, and 1 winner for the Story side. Each winner will receive copies of Morning Stories & Let it Break!

I have no idea what I am going to write. but if you want inspiration go to Youtube and look up Mr. Rogers garden of your mind remix. It’s three minutes of solid gold.
That song was awesome, and I love the whistle solo and the shots of him snapping his fingers.
i get a little choked up every time I watch it; which is like six times a day. Spread the word; and laugh at the 500 some odd people that dont like it.
So I submitted… but where is it? Another thing Matt; we should have a thing on the front page. This thing should be a place where writers, such as myself, can just write down something for all the world to see. Not just a post; as per usual, but something far shorter you see. I would like to see something that likens twitter. If people arrived at the site and saw immediately some strange short hand ramblings that were the last thoughts of the writers that linger around here they may be more inclined to peruse the longer ledgers? Just a thought little buddy. Hope all is well.
