Do you miss those days of sitting next to the campfire telling haunted stories? Well now is your chance to tell your best Halloween story on My Morning Story. This contest is pretty much open to anything Halloween but we are asking that you at least add a bit of horror to it. Stories can be Fictional or Non-Fiction and any length at all.
We will grade the stories by:
How well they are written
The Plot obviously must stand out and be interesting
Comments & Star ratings on the stories will also be taken into consideration when deciding on a winner as well.

Submit A Story
To Submit a Story you must open a new account with us by Registering . Once you are a My Morning Story user you will notice a Write A Story icon next to your log-in credentials on the Slide Out menu on the top of the screen. Once you click this icon it will take you to a submission form page to write your story from scratch and or copy and paste it from a word document.
On the right hand side of the page, you will notice a place to save your story as Pending. My Morning Story is different from other sites, in that posting your stories takes about 7 days for us to review it, add an image and place it on the site. Writing Guidelines
All Fiction genres are acceptable, but depending on the ‘intensity’ of the story please identify and mark the story for an appropriate age group inside the category box. This gives us the ability to open the site up to all for all ages.
All work must be your own original creation. If My Morning Story finds that you have stolen work from someone else, we will inform all parties as well as delete your account from our user base in it’s entirety.
Submission Process
All stories can be submitted in two different ways:
To submit a story Anonymously must be done by contacting the administrator: mymorningstory@gmail.com
For everyone else, you must become a Member to My Morning Story
Stories submitted via email can take up to 2 or 3 weeks to be posted on My Morning Story. These stories are under a larger microscope for editing and publishing due to the anonymous tag on them. Stories submitted via members will take usually between 7-10 days. My Morning Story will never post more then two stories a day and each story will have it’s right to the front page of our Magazine Style layout. This broadens the people to see and or read each work.
If you are not comfortable submitting your work online, we strongly recommend you seek out one of our Chapters and join one of their LivePoetry/story events held across the country. If you belong to a chapter already, please let us know their website and name so we can add them into our chapters list.
Multiple Submissions
We do accept multiple submissions from you, but we will post each work 7 to 10 days apart from each other. This gives other users the opportunity to post in-between your stories. If you submit a story over 8000 characters long we also tend to break the story up and submit it over a part 1 and part 2 type of process.
Compensation
We strongly feel it is important to compensate our writers even if it is a minimalist amount. My Morning Story works directly with *Google Advertising* So in order to best treat our user base we have set up an information field for users to place his/her Google Advertising Publisher ID. In order to get the best results from our advertising program we strongly recommend you marketing your stories by: Facebook, twitter, & other media hubs. The more people that check out your work will directly influence how much you earn.
Terms & Agreement
Because of the aggressive scheduling for each story/poem published on My Morning Story we ask that you do not request to have your work taken off of the site for a minimum of 30 days. This gives the story the opportunity to go through an editing process, be emailed to all subscribers, and go through the magazine styled front page of the site.
When you become a member we will use your email address to address all members a few select times a year about updates and future plans of the site. We do this to remind our writers that we are here to stay and continue to find ways to grow.
CopyRight Information
For those of you questioning CopyRight Information it can get rather complex, so bear with me if you will. When something is posted on the internet, it is automatically published. Most writing websites ask that you do not publish your work anywhere else before submitting it to their website. They do this for a multitude of reasons, but to get to my point is My Morning Story does not hold that standard. My Morning Story actually urges you to publish your work in your own blog or in different areas online. This helps your work grow which is the essential goal in the first place.
My Morning Story also gives the owner of the work full rights to anything that happens. If you the user no longer want your story online we will take it off immediately. The only thing that we ask is upon publishing your story that you wait a full 30 days before asking to take your work down.
If someone tries to steal your work and pawn it off as their own, you can use My Morning Story as a base for your argument. Each story/poem is posted with a Time Stamp and the Authors Name, thus making it a published piece and illegal to steal. If something strange does happen like this My Morning Story will goto bat for you and do everything in it’s power to make sure everything is ok.

Recently My Morning Story has made it possible for all of its members to begin earning AD revenue on his/her stories. For regular contributors, they will be earning 40% while our Premium contributors will be earning up to 100% on his/her story and profile page. You can become a premium member by simply contributing stories and comments regularly on the site. Premium members must have a habit of commenting on other peoples stories/poems as well.
How Revenue Sharing Works
When you write for My morning Story, your Ad’s are shown on your blog posts 40% of the time. The earnings on your post will be directly credited to your AdSense account. Apart from the revenue you get from AdSesne, we are have many contests throughout the year.
The amount a story get’s depends on the how well you market, the freshness of the topic, your formatting, how images are used and how well your story is written. It does not depend on the length of the Story.
If you are copying posts from other sites, your account will be terminated immediately and you be banned from the site permanently.

The remainder of this post will be a Tutorial for users looking to take advantage of earning money through our AD service. Because we are using Google Advertising at My Morning Story we ask that each of you make your own account with google to begin earning money. So go ahead and read along, or watch the video for help.

1st: We begin by going to Google Ads and making ourselves a user name
2nd: This will bring your new google Adsense Account page. From here click on Adsense Setup > Adsense for content > begin creating a generic Ad.
3rd: Scroll to the bottom of the next few pages and hit the word (Continue)
4th: After a few times of clicking continue you will see the words *Submit and Get Code* Click it
5th: Now we are done! All you need to do is grab two numbers off of this page with the code. The two things you will need will be the Google Pub ID and the Google Ad Slot ID.
6th: In order to start earning cash you must have your Pub ID. The Google Ad Slot ID is somewhat optional but recommended. In the next few steps you will be going back to MyMS and signing in. After you sign in, click on the Submissions Tab underneath your Profile Image
7th: This brings us to our last final step. After clicking Submissions Area you will find yourself immersed in the Back End of the website. On the left you will notice that you have a multiple of options (Dashboard, Posts, Profile) Etc… These are all ways for the users to modify their account. Today you will be clicking on *My Google Income* Which is located right underneath Dashboard on the left hand side.

There is an Anderson fairy tale about [red dancing shoes”: a little girl gets a pair of pretty red dancing shoes and whirls up out of irresistible temptation. Although owing the most beautiful and most appreciated dance, but she could not stop. She dances in the rain, under the sun, across the field, through the forest, from the daytime to the night. The shoes become a part of her feet and she couldn’t control herself. She keeps dancing and she asks executioner to cut her feet until she has lost all her strength. This is the only unique fairy tale, showing the beauty with cruelity of exhausting all.
Of course in the real world there is no such shoes. While there are many things make people love them, but also make them painful. Everyone may have his own invisible red shoes, they are just not the same. The red-soled shoes is just one kind of this because many people love it only for another look when they wear it on. If you wear them everyday, you may be attracted by them easily and can not stop, it is sure that your feet will pain if you wear them for long, for everyone`s tolerance level is different, you may not feel that if you are used to them.
However, once you give it up to relax for a while, you will probably remind of the former pain when rewearing it and have to take some plunge and courage. While some choose comfortableness, never wearing it again. But to those brave people, they still prefer to putting on this alluring Christian Louboutin, loving and feeling painful even it will bring “scrathes” to them. Carrie loves the shoes in “Sex and the City”, I know Manolo Blahnik because of her, and I just know it. Later, I also got to know an Italian brand–Christian Louboutin which are the three most luxurious shoes brands together with Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo. Its unique mark is the very obvious red soles. Even me, who is not sensitive to shoes, or I can say I am a little dull to them, it still leaves a deep impression after reading the introduction.
Its high price still fails to stop ladies` loving for Christian Louboutin. The most charming time of a pair of good shoes is the meeting with its foot. At one time, someone asked Christian Louboutin face to face, why did he choose red for Christian Louboutin at first? Christian Louboutin, the passionate Italian answered that, [red color represents desire and passion. Being conspicuous and sizzling, man will be attracted at the first sight of it.” Summarizing the biggest characteristic of red –soled penetratingly and perfectly. To such red temptation, even men who habour a resrevation with high-heeled shoes will impress deeply in that brush of red.
Once I came across an advertisement by Christian Louboutin. Being a layman in arts, I can`t say I sensed its inspiration at mere sight of a static oil painting of a picture. Composition is also particular, the looming red soled shoes seem mysterious and a little dark noble in this tone.
